GUIDELINES

Tuition

Tuition can be paid either Monthly or Quarterly. Monthly tuition is due EVERY FOUR WEEKS.  Quarterly tuition is due by the first class in August, November 17th and February 23rd, and receives a 5% discount.  If the quarterly payment is not received in on those dates – there is NO discount.

Your tuition will be the same each month. There is no deduction for your child missing class.

Please write your child's NAME and the month you're paying for on the memo line of your check.  If you're paying by credit/debit card, your payment will post on the Monday of the week your payment is due.

Deposit your payment into the interior or exterior studio mail box.  Or mail it to P.O. Box 429.

Please include a late charge of $5.00  if  your tuition is paid after the 1st of the month.

There will be a $20.00 charge for returned checks.

Behavior

Students that are disruptive in class will not be allowed to participate, and will be escorted to the waiting room.

Make-up Classes

If your child requires a make-up lesson, there will be a $10.00 charge.

Snow Policy

It will be your responsibility to call the Studio a few hours before your child’s dance class to see if the Studio is open.  If the answering machine does not say the “Studio Is Closed”, then there will be classes.  If you choose for your child not to attend, there will be no make-up lesson or reduction to your monthly payment.  If a class is cancelled twice, one of those days will be rescheduled.

Costume Fee

The costume payment is broken-down into two payments.  The first payment is due by November 7th and is $40.00, per costume.  You will receive a letter in December stating the remaining balance, which is due by January 4th, 2010.  You may combine your costume payments with your monthly payments.

DANCE ATTIRE

PROPER DRESS:

For all classes, a leotard & tights should be worn.  A ballet skirt may be worn over the leotard for Ballet.  Dance pants or shorts are to be worn for the other dance styles.  No jeans, jeans shorts or dresses please.

PROPER HAIR:  Your child's hair must be pulled back off her face.

PROPER SHOES:  Put your child’s name in their dance shoes.

    Tap:  Ages 3 to 8 require the ‘student’ style tap shoe in Black.  Ages 9 & above & the competition line, require the ‘Oxford’ style tap shoe in Black.

    Ballet:  Pink – split or full-sole

    Jazz:  Black – split or full-sole

    Hip-Hop:  Black jazz or dance sneakers

    Tumbling:  Barefoot – no shoes allowed.

    Lyrical:  Barefoot, lyrical or jazz shoes

    Cheerleading:  White ‘Keds’ tennis shoes are required.

    If your child is not dressed appropriately they will not be allowed to participate and will be marked absent.
